This Com-Pac 23 is a day sailors dream. This sailboat was recently restored inside and out. With a shoal draft fixed keel, this sailboat can venture into shallow waters with ease. This boat comes with a custom electric winch to raise and lower the gaff rigged mast at the touch of a button. Making it that much easier to trailer, or motor under low bridge clearances.
This boat also comes with a custom built 24v solar panel to power all the electronics and charge the two deep cycle batteries on-board.
The cabin comes complete with new cushions, lighting, plenty of storage, a small kitchen table, porta-potty, and room to sleep four people comfortably. The current owner has taken several camping trips and has comfortably slept 4 people for long weekends. There is a forward hatch that offers excellent airflow, and the rustic porthole windows in the cabin give it a fun look and old school feel.
The gaff mainsail is in good condition and is only four years old, as well as the 110% Genoa. The Genoa is on a brand new roller furling system, making it easy to pull in and out on a moments notice. All lines lead back to the cockpit making it easy to single hand. Over the cockpit is a custom made bimini that is in excellent condition. Above the bimini is custom made wooden gallow that the boom can rest when the mainsail is not up.
The spreader-less mast is shorter than typical Com-Pac 23's to make traveling easier. It is custom equipped on a hinge with an electric powered winch to raise and lower the mast with a push of a button. All deck hardware is in good condition, primary winches in the cockpit are not self tailing but are new. Deck house winches are original but also in good condition.
This boat is designed for easy day sailing, even easier to trailer, but built like a tank. This is an excellent boat for weekend camping, day sailing or short ocean pass-aging.
We're told that the overall boat condition is good. Running rigging is weathered but functional. Standing rigging is in good shape, with the exception of the port shroud. The wire is starting to fray and it needs to be replaced.
All running rigging is weathered, the genoa furling line should be replaced soon. Depth sounder functions well. Boat is equipped with a stereo system with speakers both in cockpit and in cabin. Current owner has never used the stereo system. The teak work on the deck is weathered but still in solid shape.
Per the seller all mechanical parts are in good operating condition, so are all electrical components.
