Beautiful boat , never chartered, custom built for the original owner !
This fully customized, Coast Guard documented 48 foot Chesapeake with a 15-foot beam is a fisherman's dream. The owner and designer has made it the perfect boat to go on canyon runs or just off shore for bluefish or fluke.
Entering through the transom, there is a large transom door to come aboard. The transom is self bailing, so there is never any water puddles to squeegee into the corners.
On each side of the deck there are 2 fish boxes approximately 6'x2' in size. In this huge fishing area there are 2 swivel fishing chairs in the rear and a dozen rod holders. Moving forward towards the pilot house there are two bolster benches, 1 on each side and an outdoor helm. Above the helm and bolsters is a large fiberglass awning with plenty of headroom.
As you go into the cockpit, you will be amazed by the helm station. A single chair command station with everything needed to control the vessel single handed within reach. All the electronics, and controls are easily handled by the captain. In the HUGE cockpit there is a dinette, microwave, refrigerator, cockpit sink and stand up freezer. On the ceiling of the cockpit is a ton of rod storage.
To the right of the helm are the steps in into the v berth. In the berth there is a large sleeping area accompanied by more storage, including a large storage closet and a full head.
To make this boat even more attractive to the offshore angler, she is powered by twin Cummins QSM 11s, arguably the best and most reliable diesel engines ever.
This is the absolute perfect boat for the hard core fisherman.
The Custom Chesapeake is in very good condition, the exterior shows no cracks or rust. 2 new Props included The deck of the boat has been well taken care of by the owner and is shocking how clean it is with all the fishing that it has done. When you look down into the engine space the fact that there is no rust, no water pooling and the engines are spotless is jaw dropping.
There is no current COI for this vessel as the owner used it for personal use.
