1998 Aquasport 215DC For Sale

This AQUASPORT 215 DC appears to be an honest-to-goodness fishing boat...great for saltwater or freshwater fishing.

The dual console design is very practical, and each console is designed with a purpose. The passenger side console is large and roomy, big enough to stow a portable head and store a good deal of items.

There is a real honest to goodness bow railing, and a stand-up bimini with extra rear aluminum braces instead of cheaper straps like many other manufacturers use. The hull-thru fittings are chromed bronze instead of the self-destructing plastic used by other manufacturers. Thru hulls for scuppers are plastic. Pick up is bronze with shut off. Aquasport added these subtle quality enhancements which is why this boat seems so substantial and looks so good.

The engine well has a small cofferdam built around the transom access with a railing around it...this is a well-thought-through safety feature which keeps passengers from falling into the engine when underway.

The removable cushions are in good condition and stored separately...see photos.

The large and angular helm is very practical and perfect for anglers who like to operate the boat standing up. This is a very practical design not available from most manufacturers.

The windshield is taller than most and does a great job of keeping passengers and expensive electronics dry when out in the chop.

If you want a practical boat more sensible than stylish then this Aquasport is for you.

The seller indcates they purchased this boat with about 55 hours on the engine, installed a fishfinder and set the operating time which he's never reset. It currently reads 76.5 hours. The seller estimates the total hours on the boat and engine to be the total of 55 + 76.5 or 131.5 hours.

The engine is maintained by this fisherman owner, the impeller was last replaced in September of 2021. Oil changes and other maintenance are up to date. The seller added trim tabs (pictured) and they work great.

This seller says the trailer brakes need attention. They haven't worked in a while. Tires were installed in 2022, and the date code is 1321.
