The Bayliner 246 Discovery is the largest in the line of Bayliner's express cruisers that are built to be trailered. The Discovery line is designed to handle weather and seas that would send most cruisers home with their tail tucked between their legs. Included in this design ethos are a hardtop, high windshield and side windows, waterproof electronics, and vinyl flooring throughout.

With just one engine to feed and care for, the cost of ownership is much lower than with comparable twins. The 5.7 liter engine with the dual-prop Bravo Three outdrive makes for a powerful combination that will not leave you wishing for more of anything. The cabin is comfortable for overnights with a fiberglass head/shower combo, a 6-gallon water heater, refrigerator, alcohol/electric stove, microwave oven and accommodations to sleep up to six between the V-berth, aft berth, and convertible dinette.
