2001 Bayliner Ciera 2455 LX Cruiser in Oakley, California

This 2001 Bayliner Ciera 2455 LX is all around a good boat. She accommodates up to 12 passengers and sleeps 4. Great for day trips or taking to a lake to camp for a long weekend. This express-style mid-cabin cruiser tips the scales at only 5,304 pounds. That means it can be easily trailered by a variety of tow vehicles. The trailer is an Escort which was built specifically for the 2455. It is a galvanized steel trailer with tandem axles and brakes.

This 2455 is repowered with a Mercruiser 357 MAG engine with 325 hp, making a huge difference in the boat's performance.

The boat has a substantial freeboard, so Bayliner incorporated a walk-through transom door to the swim platform for ease of boarding. Built-in steps on the dash console make it easy to access the foredeck. Molded-in toe rails on the foredeck lead to a recessed area at the forepeak for the safe and convenient handling of lines.

This classic white and tan color scheme with the wood grain package gives a timeless and always up-to-date feel. The Ciera 2455 LX is upgraded with VHF radio, digital depth finder, illuminated compass, stereo with CD player, hot and cold pressurized water system, single-burner alcohol/electric stove, dual voltage refrigerator, microwave, marine head holding tank, shower, shore power and cord, forward and side cruising curtains.

Information On Condition

This vessel is in average condition for its age with some small scratches and dings around the boat.

The interior is in decent shape and all of the control switches appeared to be in working condition.

The seller plans to replace the swim platform ladder and the table in the cockpit area.

October 2020: Replaced fuel tank anti-syphon valve and adjusted carburetor. Drive and water pump serviced.

October 2020 Trailer Maintenance: Replaced and packed right side wheel bearings and axle seals. Greased, torqued, and inflated all wheels. Topped off the master cylinder and checked brake operation, with no issues.
