This well-maintained Chaparral 290 Signature Express Cruiser is in excellent condition and is truly ready to be taken out on the water for some summer fun! The seller keeps the boat on a lift behind their home and their Chaparral has been very well taken care of!!
This Chaparral is powered by twin 270HP Volvo Penta 5.0 GXi engines with the VP Duo-prop stern drives, and they have low hours of use since new. This boat cruises comfortably at around 28 MPH and will get up around 50 MPH if you are in a hurry.
The 290 Signature is very well equipped with everything you are looking for to have a great day on the water or even multiple days on the water with a 5KW Kohler generator with under 50 hours. The cabin has air conditioning and heat to keep you comfortable year-round.
Fully functional galley with an Isotherm marine fridge, microwave, stainless steel sink, single-burner stove, and plenty of cabinet storage space.
Plenty of seating below deck with a wrap-around sofa dinette and a V-berth up front that converts from a bed to more seating space with a nice-sized table. There is also another berth for two under the aft deck.
Tons of storage down below -- under-seat storage, cabinets and hanging lockers, hidden storage under the carpet - there's no shortage of places to keep your things.
At the helm, all the controls are at your fingertips including an updated Garmin GPS fishfinder, JBL Marine stereo, remote searchlight, anchor windlass, depth sounder, and Chaparral gauges.
Cockpit seating includes a helm bench for two, a lounger to port with draining cooler underneath, a two-person bench facing aft directly behind the helm seat, a fold-down bench seat at the transom that can be made into an outdoor dinette, and a cockpit sink and cooler make a mini wet bar. All of the cushions are in great shape with no tears or fading.
Nice spacious swim platform with deep boarding ladder allow playing in the water to be easy, and there's a fresh water shower at the transom to rinse off as you climb back on board.
