This Larson 290 Cabrio is a big express cruiser with a 10' beam and lots of space for entertaining days, nights, and weekends. Take the Cabrio to your favorite sandbar, beach up on the islands, or spend the weekend at the marina.
This 290 is set up with friends and guests in mind. The L-shaped lounge deck seating, cockpit table, and wide-open bow with foam non-skid decking make room for everyone onboard. In the cockpit are a refrigerator and wet bar with a sink under a bimini shade.
Below decks, the cabin is fit for four or five and could accommodate more when the need arises. The mid-cabin berth is aft of the salon and the wide V-berth is forward. The full galley includes another refrigerator, two-burner electric stove, a microwave, and a sink with a cover. Light wood cabinets, the beautiful cabin sole, and stainless steel fixtures highlight the smart design of this Cabrio.
The aft lounge seat sits atop the electrically covered engine compartment. The Cabrio is powered by twin Volvo Penta 4.3L engines which really move this great boat. The compartment also houses the ship's batteries and the hot water heater.
The 2011 Venture trailer is included with the sale of the boat and has an electric winch and other updates.
The Larson 290 Cabrio is stored out of the water on its trailer when not in use. The boat showed some dirt on the hull at the time of the listing from storage in the off season. Underneath the dust, the hull had a nice shine and good reflection.
The upholstery on the boat was recently updated and was bright and intact. The cabin was dry, clean, and no odors were detected. Cabin surfaces appeared intact and there were no signs of leaks in the headliners.
The bottom paint is up to date. The trailer bunks and tires have been replaced. The owner added an electric winch and rollers to the trailer to ease handling at the ramp.
OWNER'S UPDATE: The housing for the starter on the starboard engine has sheared off requiring the lower engine block to be replaced. The boat is scheduled for the engine rebuild the first week of October and the work will take about 3 weeks to complete.
