Marinette 32 "Morning Glory"
A durable and exceedingly popular model, the Marinette 32 Sedan is constructed with welded marine-grade aluminum. A relatively wide 12 foot beam results in a good deal of living space below and the large wraparound cabin windows add to the spacious effect. Her lively performance and practical accommodations make this a great family cruising vessel. This vessel is fitted out for off the grid cruising.
The Marinette 32 Sedan is a practical family cruiser with a spacious main salon, a modest aft cockpit, and a well arranged fly-bridge with guest seating beside and aft of the fly-bridge helm. A port-side all-weather helm in the main salon provides good visibility and is finished off with teak paneling and woodwork. The 32 Marinette is an exceedingly popular boat with over 1,800 built during her long production run. Construction is welded marine-grade aluminum. A relatively wide 12' beam results in a good deal of living space below and the large cabin windows add to the spacious effect. This boat has been operated in fresh water and stored under cover or inside since she was built.
The Marinette 32 Sedan features a modest, uncluttered cockpit, a convenient double-wide salon door entry, roomy flybridge and wide, flat sidedecks. Enter the cockpit through transom rail boarding gates, port & starboard. Moving forward on the decks is easy, with safety handrails along the side of the bridge as well as the cabin deckhouse, plus high stainless steel side & bow rails. On the foredeck a built-in deck bench with cushions adds to the versatility of the 32!
From the cockpit, a straight ladder reaches a flybridge that will seat up to five, with three swivel helm seats and an aft bridge bench seat for two more. The bridge is shaded by a bimini top.
DOWN BELOW Enter the salon through double sliding doors with drapes. Large salon windows, a wide forward salon windshield, plus lower level galley & dinette windows provide an abundance of natural light & ventilation throughout the Marinette 32. Sliding doors and side windows have insect screens.
Salon seating includes a built in teak settee, convertible to sleep two, with drawers below, plus a lower station and helm seat. The lower station, with excellent visibility for all-weather navigating, is set to the portside.
Step forward and down to the galley and dinette level and find a galley with ample countertop space to starboard and a large dinette to port. The dinette is a wrap-around booth, with removable table and will also convert for an extra sleeping area. Again, large windows with screens provide extra light and comfort on this level as well.
The head is just forward of the galley and includes a vanity area and manual toilet and shower. Above the toilet are two storage cabinets with sliding doors. The vanity has storage below. The head has a screened window. There is a 9 gallon holding tank built into the toilet with a macerator pump that can pump it to a separate 27 gallon holding tank which can be pumped out from an exterior deck fitting
Forward of the galley & head is a teak bulkhead with sliding pocket door that conceals the private V-berth, which also includes a dresser and hanging locker, plus ventilating ports and an overhead hatch, each with screens. Air conditioning outlets provide excellent cooling/heating when AC power is available.
