The Monterey 262 is a well-built and good-looking Cruiser with enough room on deck and down below for the entire family. This 26 footer has good headroom down below, so you won't be crouching like in other similar-sized vessels.
The 262 will comfortably sleep 4 if you plan to overnight at the island or even in the slip. The convertible V-berth dinette is roomy, as is the mid-berth, aft.
The Galley is simple, yet effective for making meals. A single electric cooktop and sink, fridge, and microwave provide the essentials, while the BBQ mounted in a rod holder gives you an added cooking space.
The head is a comfortable size with enough room to double as a shower.
Up on deck, you'll find the helm is well laid out which makes the Monterey a pleasure to drive. And, the sexy wraparound windshield opens to allow access to the bow and anchor.
Seating in the cockpit is plentiful and includes a beautiful table for meals or a good card game at sunset. The transom seat folds in to allow more room for those times your anglers aboard need more room to fish.
This Monterey 262 is in good condition and ready for new adventures. The Volvo Penta 5.7 Gi was recently tuned up and serviced at the end of 2021, with new exhaust manifolds and risers installed at the same time.
