The 1987 Sea Ray 270 Sundancer features lots of accommodations, provides a comfortable and stable ride, and is powered by twin Mercruiser engines with replaced ( April 2021) SE106 outdrives.
The 10-foot beam assists in providing a stable platform for captain and crew. Add the 22-degree dead rise and the trim tabs and your ride will be comfortable in rougher seas.
The cockpit area provides a lot of room for entertaining with a fold-out aft bench seat and two flip-down jump seats with a slide out shelf unit with drink holders.
With the seating folded away the aft also provides ample room to fish from. The transom walk-thru and door leads to a swim platform with swim ladder.
The helm area features bench seating wide enough for the captain and 2 persons. There is a full complement of gauges and switches to run and monitor the boat.
The side decks provide access to the deck and bow area complete with an anchor locker, bow pulpit, bow and side rails with stanchions. There are also 3 opening deck hatches.
Below decks there is a hanging locker and lounge seat to port with a table. The lounge seat bottom base slides out to convert to a double berth. Directly across from the lounge is the galley area.
The galley has an alcohol-electric dual stove, sink and refrigerator. There is countertop space to prep meals and drawers & cabinet storage provided.
The enclosed head is equipped with an electric flush toilet, a sink with faucet, mirror, cabinet space, porthole to allow in fresh air and natural light.
The V berth in the bow area can accommodate two and has storage shelving to either side.
The mid-cabin sleeping area also sleeps 2 and has a mirror with a sliding opening window for ventilation and natural light.
The Bimini provides shade and protection from the elements. There are front, rear and side pieces included to create a full enclosure.
