Located in Clearwater Beach (Tampa Bay), Florida, this 31-foot used Sea Ray 280 Sundancer is a nice express cruiser. It has been well maintained and is attractive and comfortable with a spacious salon, two berths, dinette, galley, head, large cockpit, and a big foredeck. Powered by twin Mercruiser 4.3L MPI 220 HP engines and paired with Alpha One drives, this Sea Ray boat has ample power no matter the situation or destination.
In the salon, sleeping for six is provided by a forward stateroom, a dinette that converts to a berth, and a mid-ship berth.
The forward V-berth stateroom easily converts to a second dinette when needed with ample storage below the seating.
The galley is nicely appointed with a microwave, single-burner stove, sink, refrigerator/freezer, and cherry cabinets. Temperature is controlled by a Cruisair air conditioning unit and electric power is generated by a Kohler generator when away from the dock.
The cockpit is equally well-appointed with a nicely equipped helm station to include a Garmin GPS/Chartplotter. There is a captain's chair with bolster, a passenger lounge, a double rear-facing passenger seat that folds down for a large lounge, and a fold-down bench seat. Three steps lead to the walk-through windshield for easy and safe access to the large bow.

This Sea Ray 280 Sundancer has been well maintained mechanically by a local boat mechanic for the past nine years, for which the seller has provided receipts.
The mechanic states that all functions work as intended except for the digital hour meters and a sensor alarm over 4000 RPMs that has yet to be diagnosed.
The same mechanic installed a rebuilt port engine long block in late 2015 and estimates the port block has less than 75 hours and the starboard engine has approximately 325 hours.
The boat did have previous rainwater intrusion through the mid-cabin window to the cockpit. The leak has been repaired, but signs of the previous leak remain.
Some of the cockpit upholstery is damaged from the sun and in need of repair. Also, the bow rail on the port side is bent.
With an extensive detail and some upholstery work, the boat could easily be brought back to its former glory.
The seller realizes the aesthetic needs and has priced to boat accordingly.
