This ever-popular Sundancer is in very good condition. The owner reports that outdrives were recently installed (11/22).
The boat, located just south of Jacksonville, FL,, is ready to cruise with no structural or mechanical issues needing attention.
The boat is powered by dual 4.3 MPI Mercruiser engines at 220 HP each. The starboard engine has 650 hrs and the port engine has 95 hrs. These engines drive dual Mercruiser outdrives that have recently been replaced. It cruises at 28 mph burning about 15 gallons per hour.
The primary access is through the gated transom from the large swim platform to the cockpit deck with a transom bench seat, center facing passenger forward to port, and a single bolstered seat to starboard at the helm.
The swim platform has a pressurized hot and cold freshwater shower to rinse the salt off after a swim.
The helm has a full array of electronics including a Raymarine SL70C which includes Radar and GPS with RayChart navigation.
Access to the bow deck is from the 3 step companionway molded sliding door through the gated windshield.
The foredeck has an electric anchor windlass and remote spotlight controlled from the helm.
Below deck sleeps 6 with a double vee berth, dinette which covers to a double and another double berth behind the companionway steps mid-cabin.
The galley to starboard includes a single burner electric stovetop, microwave, Coriander countertop with sink, and pressurized hot and cold water. Below this counter is the marine Norcold refrigerator and a storage cabinet.
The head is located to starboard with an electric flush toilet. The sink has an extending faucet to be used as a shower with a drain in the floor and a shower curtain.
The main salon has 2 opening ports on each side along with a large Bowmar overhead hatch providing abundant natural light.
The canvas covers the cockpit with a full camper canvas and isinglass. All is in very good condition.
All-in-all this 2003 Sea Ray 280 is in better than expected condition for its age. It is ready to provide you and you family lots of memory-making fun on the water.
According to the seller, all mechanical and operational systems function as intended. It should be noted that the LED screen on the Raymarine multi-function needs to be repaired/replaced.
The hull is in very good condition. There is some minor cracks/damage on the edges of the swim platform and these are shown in the pics.
All soft goods appear to be in very good condition with not cuts, tears, holes or seam separations noted.
