This Sea Ray 280 Sundancer is a strong and confident master of navigation on the Big Lake. The Sundancer features twin Mercruiser 4.3 L six-cylinder 220 HP engines and Alpha One stern outdrives.
You board from the swim platform which features a stowable and retractable three-step ladder, transom shower, and entry through the gated transom to an aft deck for socializing. Seating for eight on flexible marine upholstery with the port side converting to a sunpad. A wet bar and storage for a cooler maintain beverages conveniently for guests.
The helm features a captain's chair with bolster, burl wood and vinyl adjustable steering wheel, and a full instrumentation panel in wood trim.
Molded fiberglass steps through the walk-through windshield to the ample sun deck. Stainless steel safety rail, windlass and pulpit mounted anchor with a remote-controlled spotlight lead the bow.
Descend molded steps into the ample cabin to a galley with butane fueled single burner stove, Corian countertop and sink with microwave and full refrigerator. A convertible dinette with portholes for ample natural light seats four. A second table for four is enclosed within the V-berth which is plenty large enough for two to sleep. A wall mounrt television is located in the V-berth.
The head features a vacuflush electric toilet, fiberglass shower and Corian sink and vanity. To the aft is another berth for two with privacy curtains to sleep five to six in the cabin.
The Sea Ray provides convenient gas-assisted engine room access for easy maintenance.
This 2006 Sea Ray Sundancer 280 is a beautiful example of the Sea Ray legacy and ready for a cruise on the water.
The Sea Ray looks great for a 16 season vessel. Some slight degradation of hull accent decals but brightwork and deck shine and are well maintained. Engines start right up and run strong. The hull shows no signs of dock rash. Interior marine upholstery is very clean and intact. Cabin appliances are clean and functional. Instruments work.
