This 2001 290 Sea Ray Sundancer is a great cruising and family boat. Slightly bigger than the popular 280 Sundancer model, this model boasts an aft cabin not typically found on a boat the size.
Starting with the interior, this boat has a dinette to the port side galley and a head to the starboard. A convertible V-berth forward and the aft cabin with door and room to stand up with in. Also appointed with drawers and plenty of storage as well making this my pick for the owner's cabin. This boat is capable for sleeping up to six people comfortably.
On deck there is plenty of room for friends and family with a doublewide helm seat and lounge seat to the port side. There is a removable aft bench seat to expand your deck for whatever you decide to do with all that additional space. There is a cockpit sink and plenty of storage for all your toys throughout. Swim platform with transom shower for rinsing off after swimming at your favorite cove.
Powered by twin 5.0L EFI Mercruisers paired with bravo three duo props, she has plenty of power for all of your cruising and day boating needs.
This boat is in good condition and the seller has recently replaced all the canvas last season as well as having all of the cockpit vinyl replaced. The seller has installed a Bluetooth stereo system with remote at the helm.
The interior appears to be in good shape, most soft fabrics are in good condition. The air conditioning blows ice cold in this boat and the heat works as well.
The exterior of the boat seems to be in good shape for her age, the gel coat still shines bright. The transom locker door does have some chipping and crazing, it could be repaired but is functional . There are a few scuffs here and there but nothing out of the ordinary for this age of boat.
