This 1996 Hewes Bayfisher 16 looks like is just rolled off the Hewes production line. The boat was completely stripped, and the hull was painted on the outside with Awlcraft, inside with Awlgrip, and the deck was done in Kiwi grip.
There are newer fuel lines, newer electrical wiring, newer gauges, newer panel, and switches.
The Racor filter was replaced. The jack plate has a newer hydraulic pump and lines.
The poling platform was custom made for the boat. The push pole is newer as well.
The torsion axle on the EZ loader trailer is new.
The engine looks to be in great condition. According to the seller, the cylinder head was honed and new head gasket installed. The compression is reported as excellent. The steering head, cylinder, and lines were all replaced. The trim and tilt pump and motor are newer as well.
The boat has a fresh set of Lenco trim tabs
The original engine hours are unknown, but thought to be low.
