1997 Fun Country 56 For Sale

This 1997 Fun Country boat is a mono-hulled houseboat with fore, aft, and top deck with flybridge. As used in the California Delta, these are easily captained boats used in tranquil waters and are easily nosed up onto beach shores because of the gentle sloping forward hull. A small draft of 3' allows these boats to get almost anywhere.

From the aft deck, a central sliding door leads into a passage. The boat has three staterooms, two atop a lower middle one, then the main salon with round portable dinette table and chairs, and a large L-shaped portable sofa forward.

On starboard are two head compartments than the main salon with an L-shaped galley, entertainment center and lower helm at the forward viewing window.

The galley is complete with sink, microwave oven, four-burner stove and two 12vdc refrigerators.

A central sliding door opens onto the foredeck which has bench seats on each side under the forward viewing windows, and a complete stanchion enclosure atop aluminum bulwarks.

The top deck is accessed via aluminum steps on the aft deck, port, and has the flybridge console forward with centered steering wheel.

This boat will be available this Spring 2022.

The Fun Country is undergoing an extensive bottom and engine cleanup, as well as restoring the interior spaces functionality.

One engine (port) has been removed and a plate covers the rear mount.

The starboard engine has a replaced block, mount and refurbished outdrive (according to the seller). Water heater is new. Fuel pump is new. New batteries. New bottom epoxy paint. Thru holes refurbished. Carpet needs replacing.

Generator condition unknown. Some roof areas are delaminating.
