This 1971 Kings Craft was commissioned for build by the current owners father and has been a family boat since it was new.
The all aluminum boat is solid and sports a nice bright white and blue exterior and certainly creates that cabin on the water feel.
There is plenty of outdoor space both fore and aft to enjoy the scenery while underway or at anchor secured by the windlass set-up on the bow.
The flybridge has a nice bimini cover and plenty of room for the captain and a few guests but most of your time will be spent on the main deck of the boat.
Inside you'll find a red, white and blue nautical theme that fits the boat perfectly. The sellers do intend to keep some smaller decor items and the deck chairs as keepsakes but a majority of the decor items will go with the boat.
The fore deck has a all wood and chrome helm station to starboard and a jackknife sofa to port that makes a nice sitting area when at anchor or dockside.
The galley and head are midship and are highlighted by some nice original woodwork and cabinetry including a passenger favorite, The Whiskey Locker (pictured) according to the sellers.
The dinette is at the starboard rear of the boat across from another sofa that converts to two bunks and there is a sliding door for access to the stern of the boat.
This 1971 Kings Craft has been lovingly cared for by a single family since it was new and contains a lifetime of memories and work.
The boat is in good condition, especially considering it's age.
Both engines and the generator are reported to be in working order and are checked seasonally each year when the boat is pulled and stored on the hard for the winter.
All the tools, equipment and spare parts pictured below the foredeck are included with the boat but after inheriting the boat from her father the current owner doesn't have a detailed inventory.
Although only lightly used this past season it is believed that all instrumentation, electronics and radios are in working order but a new owner will want to personally check and verify this as needed.
The interior has been nicely kept and updated as needed over the years but has stayed true to the age of the boat. It presents well and certainly defines the character of the boat from the rich original woodwork to the chrome brightwork throughout.
