1987 ELIMINATOR "DAY CRUISER.........jet propulsion; and in exquisite condition!

There are quite a few Day Cruiser models available on the internet, but I don't think you'll find any to be quite as nice as this one is. From the supple and clean interior to the glisten of the gel coat finish this ELIMINATOR is obviously in superb condition.

The current owner is owner #3. The original owner sold to his son, and the son sold to our current owner.

TRAILER: The trailer is a custom-built trailer which was obviously designed and built for protection of the hull, and long term road-worthiness. The built in "debris guard" protects the hull from chips due to flying gravel and other damage which can and does occur when traveling. This one feature alone should be standard on all trailers.

According to the seller: The engine is a stock 454 GM long block which was bored .30 over which makes it a 460 cu in V8. During the build, the first owner contracted for a 454 ELGIN crank shaft, TRW forged pistons, and a CLAY SMITH camshaft with Kit and lifters, springs, and retainers. New TRW main and rod bearings were installed, and C&A rings. The intake and exhaust valves are stainless. Atop the high rise manifolds are Twin 4 BBL HOLLEY carbs. Add the ceramic headers and you've got a performance engine which cranks out about 550hp according to the seller. By the way, the engine is lubricated by 50wt VALVOLINE racing oil, and the premium fuel is treated with a quality stabilization product.

The BERKLEY jet pump Model 12JG-A-DS matched to the engine will propel this heavy hull boat to 70 + mph.

In the pics, you will notice the dash-mounted switch that operates the jet's "rooster tail" effect. It will spray a rooster tail over 50' in the air. Impressive!

The owner states there are two 10 gallon saddle tanks in addition to a 3 gallon auxiliary supply tank.

Information On Condition

CONDITION: the bilge is absolutely spotless. There is no oil of fuel smell anywhere.

The gel-coat and graphics are in spectacular condition. The boat is wiped dry after each use and waxed and buffed 4X per year. When not in use, the boat is covered with a quality cover. It is very well kept.

The heavy chrome fenders cover the triple axles with rear-axle brakes.

There are a number of photos of the hull showing a nearly perfect finish.

The interior is amazingly clean, as is the graphics and gel coat finish. Very few abrasions noted.

The tires are in excellent condition. By viewing the pics, you will notice the TRAILER BUDDY axle grease caps take the guesswork out of knowing when to supplement the bearing grease.
