According to Trade Only Today, an industry news website, a total of 3,287 boats sold in July to the tune of $297 million. In 2013, however, 3,569 boats sold for $300 million. While boats 26 to 35 feet saw the largest drop (15 percent) and those under 26 feet dropped 8 percent, boats 46 to 55 feet were a bright spot, selling at a rate 19 percent higher than last year's.
