This 1980 Endeavour 37 Ketch has been sailed by the current owner along the East coast of the U.S., from Maryland to Florida, to the Bahamas, and south through the Caribbean Islands, hopping south all the way to Trinidad and Tobago and back. She sails easily and is ready to return to the Islands with her new owner.
The layout is practical with an open double berth aft starboard side, with a chart table just forward. A double berth in private cabin aft port. The aft port cabin has a door to the port side head allowing for private access. There is a shower in the head.
Opposite the head, the galley is starboard with 110/12 volt refrigerator freezer. The icebox has been converted to a deep freeze with a 12-volt cold plate. The propane oven has been inoperable since the current owner has owned the boat, but the three burner propane stove works quite well on the 1 lb propane tanks.
Forward, the V-shaped settee turns into a comfy double bed. The current owner actually left the berth setup while cruising and had a memory foam topper on it. They ate all their meals at the cockpit table and had the berth setup and comfy all the time.
The ketch rig is easy to handle, and the cockpit is comfortable, with the dodger and bimini protecting from the elements.
This Endeavour 37 is ready to go sailing, aren't you?
This boat appears in nice condition, especially for its age. I walked the deck and noticed no soft spots. The seller reports that all soft spots have been removed, recored and reglassed.
The age of the sails is unknown, however, the mizzen was cut from a spare jib about 3 years ago. The Jib and main have been resewn.
The forestay and harken roller furling mechanism are 8 years old, the shrouds are 4 years old, and the mizzen rigging age is unknown.
The Perkins diesel engine was professionally rebuilt in 2012, and just competely overhauled in 2019
The boat has new bottom paint in September 2019.
