We're sorry to see this one go but check out some other options below.
ENTERTAINER has had only three owners from new, all of whom understood yachts and what it takes to keep them pristine. This Gulfstar MKII simply shines. Over the last two years, her current owner has invested significantly in upgrading her systems and making sure ENTERTAINER is, without a doubt, the best Gulfstar available on the market.
The Gulfstar MKII concept is of a fast, seakindly yacht with superb accommodations, a large engine room and first-class storage, with an attractive profile with nice shear.
Four private staterooms, three head arrangement.
ENTERTAINER was the next-to-last Gulfstar MKII built for a knowledgeable yachtsman and personal friend of the designer's. The interior is of the best fit and finish and has been maintained to the highest level.
Highly-varnished joinery, virtually flawless teak and holly cabin soles and beadboard-style headliner complement the interior.
The fully air-conditioned interior is bright and airy with many opening hatches. Both port and starboard AC units are new. ENTERTAINER also features stainless dorades on properly-varnished dorade boxes. The salon windows were replaced in the last two years.
The MKII arrangement differs from the standard Gulfstar, featuring a large forepeak with excellent storage, followed by a large head compartment with stall shower. All three heads have been totally rebuilt with new hoses leading to a new blackwater tank aft. There are two mirror-image staterooms with upper/lower berth arrangements, with new mattresses.
The main salon is most elegant for a sailing yacht of this size, with a large U-shaped settee and a varnished teak table to port. Two new TVs and a new stereo amplifier enhance the audio/video package. There is generous storage outboard. Opposite to starboard is a comfortable settee with a custom convertible coffee table and storage cabinets behind.
The navigation station is located aft of the starboard settee and features a full chart table with storage, drawers and built-in navigation instrumentation. The navigation chair has been re-upholstered with new leather.
Just aft of the navigation station is a pull-out lower double-berth stateroom (new mattresses) with a large ensuite head with built-in combo washer/dryer. A custom shelf is located in the stateroom which contains an array of bound operation and equipment manuals.
The master stateroom contains a centerline queen berth, leather settee, plentiful storage and a large ensuite bath with stall shower.
A walk-through galley is located to port and offers excellent storage and plenty of counter space. Both AC and DC refrigeration have been rebuilt. A new galley faucet has been installed along with new hoses.
In late 2004/early 2005, in preparation for a trip to Alaska, the masts were removed from the boat, serviced, painted and all standing rigging X-rayed and replaced as needed. The bottom, with no indication of blisters, was peeled, and an epoxy barrier coat was added. The hatches were replaced, teak decks removed and the entire yacht painted. Having had very light use since, the yacht remains in yacht condition.
Prior to current ownership, the engine room enjoyed a $20,000+ update. A new heat exchanger, starter, transmission cooler and all related hoses were installed. In June 2010, the varnish was refinished.
Boat hauled out of water and bottom painted in November 2016.
Hull was buffed when out of water and all the bright work in the cock pit refinished in December 2016.
The owner's personal effects are excluded from the sale.
60-day Sea Tow membership* comes standard with your boat purchase!
All reasonable offers will be reviewed and presented to the seller.
All offers are contingent upon being fully satisfied with unit after personal inspection and/or professional inspection.
