Designed by the renowned Naval Architect Herreshoff who was successful in producing contending yachts in America's Cup Yacht Races.

This 1984 Herreshoff Nereia 36 is sail-ready.

Herreshoff was a naval architect who stepped away from his "H-class" models and designed the Nereia which is a class in its self that is designed for a class of speed but holding to the functionality of the yacht for a family outing.

She has a low profile free-board creating a dynamic appearance for speed and a sail plan for best windward performance to succeed in the weekend races.

Yet, she is functional above and below deck space for the coastal sails and family weekend stay out to the Channel Islands.

This vessel was modeled after a yester-year design but she is equipped with modern technology rigging and safety.

She is meticulously cared for and maintained by the current seller with no resistance or deferred maintenance.

Seller uses her as a daily sailer and local sporting regattas.

Information On Condition

She boasts modern rigging for weekend sails or race regattas and can be handled with minimal crew.

All modern navigation electronics and instrumentation for proper sail trim and safe passage.

The seller has fitted her with autopilot controls.
