The 1983 Morgan Out Island 41 was designed by the legendary designer Charley Morgan! This popular design was one of the first center-cockpit boats and one of the first to discount sailing performance in place of space for guests!
As you enter the Morgan you enter into the galley, dining area you are met with lots of storage along both sides! The galley and the L-shaped dinette makes into a double berth when not in use for meals! The galley has a sink, microwave and stove/oven and plenty of counter space and enclosed cabinets!
Portside has a long straight settee (berth) on which can be used as a bed at night or sofa by day. There is a shelf above it and two large rolling door storage units. There is also storage below the settee for all your essentials!
There is also a navigation station with a large chart table that has drawers and a large icebox behind the long-settee on the port side. The walk-through to the master cabin starts aft of the navigation station and has a large shelf opposite of the access to the engine room. The master cabin has a large hanging locker. There is a shower and sink in the master cabin.
The front V- berth has plenty of space for sleeping and storage! In the hall is another head with a sink!
Across from the navigation station is the 2 door access to the engine compartment. The large engine room is quite spacious!
This boat comes with a hard bottom dinghy, a new spinnaker, solar panels and numerous other items.
Also included are the original owner's manual and diagrams that came with the ship. These are valuable documents for maintaining the vessel.
Please feel free to ask questions!
The vessel was out of the water in dry-dock when photos were taken. The vessel appears to be in good shape for the age. According to the seller the engine and all systems are operational! Could use fresh paint and new owners! Does need bottom paint before putting her back in the water.
The condition of the interior wood and trim is very good. This boat is dry. The owner keeps a window-style A/C running constantly and uses stay-dry bags throughout the cabins and compartments.
New items the seller has that go with the boat:
Brand new in-the-box Depth and speed Instruments and two brand new steering wheels, along with two extra throttle and steering cables. Seller says he has two of everything for the boat.
The boat is being sold "as is, where is."
