Are you ready to just get away? This Morgan Out Island 41 is just the answer. Fully self-contained with a Honda EU2000i generator, an Air X Marine 400 watt wind generator, 1000 watts of solar power, an SSB radio, and a Cruiser RO 30 gph water maker, you'll be able to practice "social distancing" as long as you like -- where ever you like.

This walkover configuration provides terrific privacy with two completely separate cabins - and there is lots of storage to boot.

From the cockpit go in the forward companionway down just a few short steps to the saloon. Immediately to port is a U-shaped galley. Just forward of the galley is a U-shaped dinette. The settee in the dinette can be used as a single berth. Opposite the dinette is a straight settee. The starboard settee can be used as a single berth and a perfect sea berth for offshore passages.

From the salon, a passage leads forward to the forward head and bunk bed suite. To port is the forward head. Two doors to the forward head allow access from the salon and private access from the stateroom.

From the cockpit, another companionway leads just a few steps aft into a sperate private cabin. The cabin is huge and oriented across the stern. The suite includes a private head with shower and custom cabinetry.

This dual cabin configuration provides sleeping accommodations for six and comfortable dining for four.
The settees provide great space to lean back, put your feet up and read or watch TV. The hatches and ports offer good lighting and ventilation and custom-built lockers offer lots of storage. The interior has been very nicely upgraded with new countertops, flooring, heads, AC, and more.

Back on top, the center cockpit has a large fiberglass hardtop with full wrap-around canvas and isinglass. Both the top and the surround appear to be in great condition. In the cockpit are an Edson pedestal and NavPod housing that includes a Garmin GPSMap 740S chart plotter, a Raymarine Smartpilot Autohelm, a Danforth compass, a Tiny Tach, and a Raymarine Close Hauled wind instrument. Steering is provided by an Edson cable steering system.

All of the standing and running rigging appear to be in very serviceable condition and include Barient and Antal winches, a ProFurl Jib fuller and lazy jacks. The sail inventory is Mack sails and includes a Genoa, main, and mizzen. Both the main and the mizzen have Doyle Cradle covers that match the cockpit canvas. Ther are also canvas covers for the winches, the windlass, and the hatches.

The ground tackle includes a CQR anchor, a Rocna 25 kg anchor, a Fortress FX 23, 120 ft of G3 chain rode and 100 ft of rope and a Lofrans windlass which had a new motor in 2018.

Mechanical power is provided by a Vetus 4.65L 65HP diesel engine (installed in 2009) driving a ZF transmission pushing an AutoStream self-feathering prop. Fuel is provided by Racor MAX series fuel separators. There is a Fireboy Halon 1301 system in the engine room.

The electrical generation system starts with a Balmar high output alternator and includes:
-- Balmar Max Charge (MC612);
-- FlexMax charge controller;
-- Xantrex Truecharge multistage battery charger;
-- Xantrex ProWatt 1000 Inverter;
-- 6 Trojan house batteries;
-- 2 starter batteries;
-- Outback Tri Metric Battery System Monitor;
-- 3 - 345 watt solar panels;
-- an Air X Marine 400 watt wind generator.

Other notable equipment and accessories include a Portland Pudgy dinghy w/sail kit, 2 Honda BF2.3D outboard engines (one new in 2019), a Yacht Thruster bow thruster w/24V Brute Force Purttron AGM battery, ICOM Marine SSB radio, Standard Horizon VHF GX 1600, an ICOM Marine VHF (at the chart w/cockpit remote), and a JVC AM/FM CD player w/6 speakers.

There is also an Ocean Kayak Malibu kayak, a Hookah rig with 60' hose and regulator, and a Sherwood 80 aluminum dive tank included.

Dinghy included: Portland Pudgy w/Sail Kit

Information On Condition

Everything about this boat appears to be in good condition and well maintained. The owner states that all mechanical and operational systems function as intended.

The obvious exception is that the new bottom paint job is only about 50% completed. Seller will provide a gallon of Trinidad 75 ($329/gal), to complete the job.

The seller also states that there is an abundance of spare parts included and a buyer would do well to complete an inventory before purchasing any spare parts.

This boat, aside from finishing the bottom paint, is water ready and extremely seaworthy. She is equipped to spend long periods "self-sustained". If you're looking for just the right boat to "get away", you've have found it here in this Morgan Out Island 41.
