1982 Stamas 44' Ketch with generator and 62 HP diesel engine.
Big, solid yacht with center cockpit. A ketch rigged blue water boat. The forteen-foot beam allows for a huge below decks living space. Two heads! Perfect for live aboard or open water sailing. The center cockpit is set up for cruising and not racing.
Stamas only made 24 of these boats. All were made to the specifications of the first owner. This one is set up for bluewater sailing. Electronics are represented to be functional by the seller. The radar is older but worked the last time the yacht was used.
Large solar panel on the transom with tender davits. Nice swim ladder on the transom.
The boat is being sold with a complete set of sails. The mainsail was recently purchased and has not been sailed yet.
The Stamas needs a good buff and wax on the entire exterior. Exterior teak needs to be resealed, but otherwise is in presentable condition. The cabin interior needs some clean up and detailing.
The seller confirms the generator and diesel engine are working as expected and electronics are working. The radar is older and needs to be replaced for bluewater sailing.
The yacht is scheduled to be hauled out soon for a bottom job, new zincs and inspection of all electronics.
