Designed by William Crealock, the Westsail's were designed to travel the world with peace of mind of her construction and sailing ability. The Westsail abounds with quality construction. She is wide open with unobstructed decks and high bulwarks, making her a safe and secure vessel. This Ketch is set up and well thought out for short-handling. Under sail the Westsail is spirited, sea kindly and stable. All sails are easily trimmed and balanced for all conditions.
As a long-distance live-aboard cruiser she is spacious below deck and has plenty of storage for any adventure. The interior is mahogany and teak. She has a great and well thought out offshore galley. Designed with a roomy double berth in the aft cabin and another bunk starboard she has room to sleep four. She has a large single head with shower with plenty of room. Whether bluewater cruising or at the dock as a liveaboard, the Westsail 42 will satisfy a lifestyle on the water in comfort and style.
