1979 Whitholz 45 Ketch Sailboat in New Smyrna Beach, Florida

Stock #126278

Although located in Canada, due to Canadian regulations, this boat is not available for sale to potential buyers in Canada.

This 1979 Whitholz 45 is a great blue water sailing vessel. It was built in the Seaway plant in New Smyrna Beach and with the direction and design by Charles Whitholz .
She is solid and functional and with some work will be ready to sail.

She has clear vision from the helm, and the autopilot keeps her on track in all kinds of seas. She has good sails, but she could use some updating, the owner says she needs a new mast to do any serious sailing or stress, she could use hull and topside paint.

The inside needs carpet or some type of flooring and perhaps some new upholstery. The a/c works fine and is only about two years old; it has a microwave, oven and 3-burner stove.

Lots of solar panels for efficient power supply and replenish. All systems are in working order according to her owner.

She comes with a nice electronics package including a Lowrance and auto pilot

Information On Condition

The boat is in overall good condition for her age. The current owner has owned her for 25 years and has sailed her all over the Caribbean.

He feels like the biggest expense will be the new mast and re-rigging her but once you have done that she will be in blue water condition.

As you can see from the pictures, she is good shape just needs some TLC to bring her back to beautiful condition again.
