Q: How'd you get involved with POP Yachts?
My fiance, Pablo, was already working in sales and learned about an opening in the listings department. It seemed like a good fit. My background's in corporate marketing.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
Pablo and I are both very fortunate to work from home. I appreciate the flexibility that gives me.
Q: How do you spend your free time?
We have a vacation rental business called the Heron House. That takes up a lot of it! We also love music. Our backyard is a trop rock music venue, the Sandbox. It hosts concerts about twice a month.
Q: Do you play or just listen?
We don't perform in a band, but we love to play with friends. Pablo plays the guitar and I play a four-string baritone ukulele. It's great for my small hands!
Q: What do you like to play?
"Wagon Wheel," "Heart of Gold," "Bad Moon Rising," some Robert Earl Keen, Kenny Chesney, Jimmy Buffett. As long as it doesn't have more than four or five chords, we'll try it!
Q: Back to POP Yachts: what do you consider the reason for its success?
Technology is definitely one of our biggest assets. We have the best software in the industry. Along with that, we have people who really believe in the company. I'm always confident that, when I pass a client on to another team member, they'll get excellent customer service.
