Family: Married for 41 years, 2 kids, one 37 and one 26.

Q. What is your position with POP Yachts?
I am a licensed broker for Florida and also I am a senior broker for Pop Yachts.

Q. How did you get into selling boats?
I have always loved boating and offshore fishing and I used to buy and sell boats as a hobby and that is how we met.

Q. Where is your favorite place to go boating?
It would have to be anywhere in the Florida Keys. I love the beautiful water color, the reefs for diving, the great fishing and just hanging out in the great weather.

Q. What's the secret to keeping both buyers and sellers happy during the course of a deal?
That can be very difficult at times but I think the key is communication with both, so they know what to expect.

Q. Is there a boat sale that you are particularly proud of?
I have had many great sales, but one of the best was when I sold my 2001 Luhrs 32 Open. I sold it to a guy from south Florida who was a sports show producer for a Latin owned company. He did all kinds of research and film documentaries, so it was kind of neat that my boat was going to be used for that and be featured on television.

Q. What does it take to be a good salesperson?
To me it is being knowledgeable of you product, prompt, honest and listening to what your clients are saying, this way you can bond and build a relationship.

Q. What do you like most about your job?
Boating, meeting all types of people and helping them make the right purchase.

Q. How have you seen POP Yachts change over the years?
There has been a lot of growth since I started, some good and some not so good. It's always tough when you have this many people dealing with so many clients to keep everything running smooth.

Q. Where do you see POP Yachts going in the future?
I think they will continue to grow as far as personnel and listings but I think the model is pretty well set. Hopefully, we will continue to gain recognition and trust in the industry so we can list much larger boats that sell at higher prices and get away from the volume game, this will make a lot of things easier and smoother for all.

Q. What is one thing people would be surprised to know about you?
I used to be a paid softball player and travel all over the United States playing in tournaments. I played professionally for about 20 years.

Q. What do you like to do when you're not working? not working possible? I love fishing, boating, golf, family, and friends!
