This steel hull vessel was designed and built in Maine as a motorsailer however, the current owner has most recently used her to haul freight to and from small islands off New England coast. Completed in 1994, this vessel features many desirable traits for those looking to start a project to turn this into the boat of their dreams.
With its fine lines and powered by a John Deere 6068 with 130HP, she is extremely efficient and cruises at 8 knots on only 1.5 gallons per hour! The seller states that due to the hull's shape, it never 'pounds' in a heavy sea and he has not operated a more seaworthy or comfortable vessel in his career.
This is a solid project boat with excellent potential to finish exactly to the new owner's desires!

The entire vessel's exterior has been blasted to bare metal and coated with epoxy paint, along with the bilges. There are a coupe cutouts of the below deck insulation where the steel was examined and found to be in excellent condition, requiring no attention. The vessel has been used for commercial purposes for many years and will show as such. However, being a project boat, it is fully ready for any new design that one can imagine.
