The MacGregor is an unusual sailboat in that it doesn't have the typical keel for ballast. Instead, the hull is filled with 1500 gallons of water which provides the ballast needed to keep the boat from rolling over.
The cabin is very spacious and can accommodate 7 overnighters.
If you enjoy sailing or just motor cruising, this is the perfect vessel for both and can be kept on a trailer out of the harmful environment of salt water. With a 60 HP Mercury Bigfoot, you can motor cruise the bay, or you can set sail, kill the engine, and enjoy the peaceful experience of sailing.
You also can stay out of the sun with a full Bimini top over the cockpit and navigate with the Garmin GPS-depth finder.
The boat also comes with a Custome Cover and a Trailer Valet.
The 2001 MacGregor appears in good condition inside and out. All sailing equipment looks in good condition as well. There is plenty of storage, all very clean. Sleeping, passenger seating, and bedding are all very clean and well taken care of. The gel coat is in good condition and shines.
