This 2005 Beneteau Antares 9.8 combining spaciousness with high performance, powered by twin Volvo Penta 210 hp diesels, she is efficient and powerful.
The Antares is designed for cruising, she can easily accommodate up to 6 people in a luxurious interior, sleeps 5 comfortably and her safety, speed and range as well as the high-quality finish of her woodwork and accommodations make the Antares 9.80 an elegant powerboat.
She's equipped with both lower and upper helms with dual controls. The upper helm is fully enclosed with isinglass. She even has bow thrusters for those windy days with strong currents.
The lower aft deck area is expandable, allowing more room on the swim platform while anchored, or moved back for more space while entertaining or cruising.
Inside You'll find ample seating, a galley with refrigerator, stovetop (propane and electric), a sink, and a convection microwave.
There is a good sized v-berth with a queen sized bed for sleeping, along with two bunks in a separate cabin, and a head with shower and sink in the same area.

This vessel appears to be well maintained. There are some areas of damage on the rub rail on the starboard side of the boat, but nothing major. Overall, the paint is in fair condition, needs to be buffed a Nv be waxed and possibly painted.

The interior of the boat appears to be in very good condition with all teak in great shape except for some scuffs in a few places. The upholstery has some scratches in it as well, but appears to be in good shape.
The boat has only been run a couple of times in the past year.
All systems work as they should per the seller except for the auto pilot, which used to work, but is not right now for some reason. Seller thinks it's a wire issue, but has not had time to check it out thoroughly.
Recent survey showed Aluminum in the oil sample, but motors ran well. The generator (Master Volt Whisper 3.5) starts but shuts down, says low oil pressure.
