The Carver Mariner 3697 is designed to be a home on the water and is great for cruising, family outings, weekends or longer adventures. The large aft deck with access to the water all around make it a formidable fishing platform as well.
The Mariner is powered by twin Crusader 454 engines with more than enough power to take you anywhere you want to go. The Kohler generator powers the boat's accommodations, air condition and heat, and hot water for the stand-up shower while motoring away from the marina, or for anchoring out overnight.
With two sleeping cabins and two convertible settees, there is room to sleep at least 8 overnight. The main stateroom has a large elevated double berth. The guest stateroom with two bunk-style berths is through the side door on the way to the galley. Both settees in the main salon covert to double beds.
Access to the large flybridge can be made from within the cabin or via the two deck ladders aft. The massive bridge includes two lounge-style passenger seats so everyone can come!
Full galley, a separate wet bar with its own icemaker, and living room-sized seating in the main salon make this boat fit for proper entertaining.
The Carver 3697 Mariner offers a chance to own a great boat with tons of living space, amenities, and storage, and still have money leftover to do some updates and personal touches to make the boat just right.
The Mariner has always been in freshwater. The owner has maintenance records and confirmed that systems on the boat are functioning as expected.
The cabin features of this boat were in amazing condition. The cabinets, walls, woodwork, appliances, and cabin upholstery were all clean. Tears, rips, chips, stains were not found in the interior spaces. There were no odors apparent and the headliners were clean and intact without stains.
The exterior of the boat will be more of a project for its new owners. The gel coat will need some work, there were some chips near the stern which need attention, and the swim platform will need to be replaced or rebuilt. The upholstery on the bridge is sun damaged and will to be replaced.

The radar display has been removed and the array remains mounted atop the radar arch.
