This boat was much larger than expected. While it is a 38 Santego, it has a LOA of almost 45 feet. The wide 14' beam gives this boat plenty of room.
The huge aft deck has a large bench seat. There are two sets of steps that lead down to the large swim platform. There is huge lockers to stow you wet gear. The seller installed a nice ladder for easy on off access.
Two sets of ladders lead up to the huge flybridge. There is plenty of seating for up to 11 people. The captain sits high on a nice ladder chair with plenty if visibility. The front walk thru to the bow is great for your passengers to enjoy the views.
Step into the air conditioned cabin thru the full sized sliding doors. The salon is very spacious, with large seating areas on both sides. The galley is large with plenty of cabinets. Opposite of the galley is a double bunk cabin.
The large head has a walk in shower and private entry from the master stateroom. The master stateroom is large and has plenty of storage.
This boat has plenty of room for a liveaboard or cruising with a large party. It will sleep up to seven and could easily entertain a dozen without feeling cramped.
The exterior was clean. A wax job would make it look nice. The boat looks solid, I did not notice any soft spots. The gel coat looks to be on good shape with minor wear and tear.
The exterior cushions look to be in great condition. The helm is aged with some cloudy gauges. A couple gauges may not be in working order.
The seller recently updated the cabin. There is new carpet, stained wood trim and painted cabinets. The carpet is not finished on the edges or secured to the subfloor, so you can have easy access to the hatches.
The engines start right up and get the boat up on plane. The engines have normal corrosion for their age. The generator runs, but may need to be manually choked.
The boat shows wear for its age but in overall good condition.
