This beautiful freshwater 1978 Chris Craft Roamer is a rare lovely 62 foot Chris Craft Aluminum pilot-house Roamer. The seller enjoyed several years of renovating this beauty, but he is moving from the river to the lake so does not need a big yacht any longer.
Like a large engine room? She has a custom-made walk-in engine space allowing overall walking room around both chrome plated Detroit Diesel 12V-71 TI (Turbo-Charged and Inter-Cooled) with 750 hp each. Engine room is geared up with workbench vise electric grinder and drill press as well as spare parts and tool cabinets!
Interior is custom teak with fully equipped galley-up and full width saloon. Layout is three staterooms and three heads with showers, laundry room with washer and dryer, with another microwave and refrigerator. There is central vacuum for easy cleaning!
The upper deck with fly bridge is big with seating for 15 to 18 people and has an ice box and gas grill. It also has a custom made stainless steel framed full enclosure!
She has two 20 kw Kohler generators, stabilizers, radar, GPS chart plotter and a lot more conventional instruments. And she brings 1500 gallons of fuel with a variety of over 700 miles at cruise speed and carries 400 gallons of fresh water. Coast power (2-250 volt 50 amp) is completely isolated from the hull with transformers so there is no problem with electrolysis.

She is in great shape for her age! Top enclosure looks great, Noticed hairline cracking in the paint on some of the exterior spots, and a few cosmetic issues (shown in pictures) but nothing major. The teak railings and woodwork around the anchor are shiny and beautiful. Electronics and appliances have not been used since he bought it, so not sure if they work, per the seller.
