This Chris-Craft yacht is a project underway that needs a new owner. Life is moving the current owner inland, where the boat cannot go. The good news is that the Detroit GM-671 diesel engines are still strong. And there are sufficient instrumentation and navigation aides to safely run the boat.
This yacht is roomy and spacious; it once must have been splendid in all its features and comfort. It is still spacious and needs the interior cabins, v-berth and salon restored to a useable condition.
The galley is working with a propane stove, microwave oven and refrigerator. There is a working sink and drainage system.
Another possibility for this boat is to use it as a live-aboard vessel. Come to Bethel Island, CA and see it for yourself.
This boat is a complete project with a working propulsion system. 3/21/23 Port engine starter not engaging.
The hull is wood with an epoxy covering over the entire outer surface.
The hull is not taking on water at rest. Underway there is water intrusion due to plank shrinkage.
One head does not work.
The shower does not drain correctly. Boat was hauled in 2020 bottom painted, new zincs in 2022. Replaced fuel filters, oil filter, and changed the oil Feb 2020 and air filters.
