This 1979 Chris-Craft Cruiser has quite the history. She was featured on the TV series Chicago APB episode #168. Current owners swooped her up after being abandoned and sitting in warehouse/storage for 12 plus years.
After many upgrades and TLC, she is once again beautiful and voyage ready! Fitted with a brand new Garmin GPS, which will work with a new Garmin dish, dish not installed. The owner is having the marina go over the boat to tighten and check all fittings, pumps (bilge included) and fix anything they find.
Her presence is special. Space, solidity, and versatility make this a great weekend home away from home or a potential liveaboard for the right owner. Fitted with both forward V berth and aft berth. Each has a full head with a shower. V berth has all-new, custom cushions for the bunk. Aft berth is perfect for a retreat from the elements and socializing. Lots of space, storage and two bunks for hosting guests overnight.
The main saloon offers plenty of space for cooking in the galley, entertaining and communicating with the captain at the lower helm. There were no visible defects in decor or wood doors/cabinetry.
There is visible weathering on some of the wooden steps on companionway and ladder.
The cleats and hardware are remarkable and free from rust and wear for age. The paint has worn off anchor, but not rust was visible.
