This Ed Monk is a classic! Access port or starboard through the sliding doors, and aft through the transom door. The spaciousness is striking, along with the 180-degree views from the salon.
The flybridge affords excellent views all around, allowing for better maneuverability.
There are two davits, one motorized, one manual, that hoist a 13-foot Boston Whaler with 30hp Evinrude 2-stroke outboard, and also an inflatable. Optional dinghy available and negotiable.
The electronics onboard are numerous:

- Furuno Radar
- Simrad AP 26
- Humminbird fish finder on Boston Whaler Koden fathometer
- Impulse 360 fathometer
- Probe Forward scanning transducer
- Wood Freeman
- Standard Horizon and ICOM VHFs
- Compass at operating station and on flybridge
The cabin is spacious with windows throughout. The main salon houses the helm and nav table, plus a very generously sized dinette, and a galley that runs along the starboard side. To aft is a head and two cabins, with access to the enclosed aft deck. Forward is a V-berth and head, with access to the engine room. The diesel fired cabin-heating furnace with six radiators throughout the boat and a 20-gallon steel hot water tank for cabin heat and to pre-heat the engine. She was regularly cruised in Alaskan waters and has a number of ways to keep the vessel comfortable.
There is also a System 7 seawater desalinator.
One davit has a manual winch to retrieve crab pots and includes crab pots.
The other davit (32v DC winch motor) is used to deploy the Boston Whaler.
A fish freezer is operated by a 32v DC compressor.
The hull is cedar carvel planked, varying between two inches adjacent to the deck to six inches. The deck is teak planking. Bottom planks are 1 1/8" thick. The transom is supported by eight 2 1/2" x 1 1/2" stanchions plus two knees. The hull has reinforcement around the waterline for going through pack ice.

The flybridge has a toneau cover for full protection.
The teak deck is naturally weathered with joints looking clean to the naked eye.
The interior is in good overall condition.
Boat was hauled and painted in 2016.
