This is a classic 1960 wooden boat. Constructed with solid mahogany and Alaska yellow cedar, with a deck that is 3/4" plywood with a non-skid sealing material (Gacoflex). The boat has been partially restored and modernized.
The vessel has participated in the Olympia Wooden Boat Fair in 1987, 1988 and 1990, the Tacoma Daffodil Marine Parade in 1991, and was awarded 1st place in the Diamond Cruise 1990 Lighted Ship Award.
The spacious wheelhouse is accessible from both port and starboard sides and includes large windows with excellent visibility, a chart table, a classic wheel & captain's chair as well as a comfortable settee that is large enough to serve as a pilot's berth. The front berth includes an offset twin size berth, a full head with a marine toilet, shower and sink.
The galley has a 4-burner propane cooktop & oven, double sink, plenty of storage, a Dickson diesel cabin heater, water heater, LED lighting and newer curtains. and refrigerator.
The cozy rear berth has a single bed and convertible dining area. The stern deck includes a door and swim step.
The restoration is almost complete on this classic wooden boat - make it yours and add your style to bring her back to her former glory.
Some newer features and upgrades include updated wiring, electric panels, bilge pump, VHF radio & antenna, 120 amp smart plug inlets, battery charger, transformer, batteries charged by engine and shore power, exterior paint, interior decor, ropes, fire extinguishers. The120 HP Ford Lehman Diesel engine was recently serviced.
The transmission is a Borg-Warner 2.5:1 reduction gear type driving a 1 1/2" SS shaft and a 21" LH 18" three blade propeller. All new electrical is Blue Sea equipment and was installed by a certified marine electrician.
The boat was pulled out in June 2019. At that time, a new propeller was installed and the propeller system repaired, new cotton installed at seams, woodwork repaired and new top high gloss white paint and new bottom antifouling dark blue paint.
