Enter the vessel from the aft cockpit through the updated custom sliding glass doors into a spacious salon with a full bar wet bar complete with an ice maker.

Below. the triple cabins were converted into two with a giant master bath and a recently installed port side master bed. Forward is an unfinished guest cabin. The two heads have updated Atlantes Freedom heads.

Forward is a down galley with a nice side-by-side full-size fridge, newer 3-burner Princess stove, and newer stackable whirlpool washer and dryer unit, never had water in them! Up top the crew has a private head.

Pilot the vessel from either the upper or lower helm. Lower helm systems include NAIAD roll stabilizers and a Furuno 72-mile color radar.

She's fitted with twin Detroit Diesel 12V-71N engines with Allison MH20 gears producing 450 HP each.

A 2000 lb Marquipt davit crane is included with the purchase.

The vessel includes original electronics and a 78-mile Furuno radar. All fresh AWLGRIP paint.

For loopers: With the radar arch and antennas lowered, the vessel will clear the low 19.7' railroad bridge at mile 300.5 on the Illinois river.

This classic 1974 58 presents an incredible opportunity to complete the restoration of this beautiful Hatteras 58!

The boat has already seen considerable renovation by the current owner. The vessel will require all new batteries as she's been sitting for some time, however, she has two newer starters and alternators. The engines and gearboxes and stuffing boxes received maintenance.

The boat was stripped inside with 20 gallons of gloss spar varnish applied. Above is a working IDEALL windlass with a stockless 100 lb navy-style Danforth anchor.

Recently installed deck box (6 feet x 2 x 3) with tons of 100-foot dock lines and fenders suitable for a Panama Canal transit.

The aft end had a 7-foot extension added by a previous owner at Ft. Lauderdale in about 1995.

A bottom blister job was done just before the current owner purchased the vessel.

The Hatteras includes TONS of updated stainless hardware for the forward and flybridge handrails all still in the box.
A 220 Volt 50-foot shore power cord, a recent Charles 32 volt 3-bank battery charger, and newer exhaust hoses are included.

The to-do list includes the repair of the air conditioning units and the repair of some minor superficial damage to paneling from a window leak. There is a 30KW Westerbeke generator on board but it is not hooked up. Most of the soft goods will need top to be replaced.

According to the owner, the current refit expense has been considerable with over $200K invested. Refit is 70-75% complete according to the owner.

1000 gallons of fuel is onboard.
