Her spacious two-stateroom floorplan is arranged with the salon overlooking the galley and dinette below. The huge salon is a great place to entertain or relax after a day of play on the water. No salon furniture gives you the ability to outfit the boat to your liking.
The galley down is well laid out with everything you need to make fantastic meals to keep the crew fed. And, the dinette next to the galley is not only a great place to eat and play cards but will convert to a double berth.
The forward cabin is a nice refuge with a queen bed, a nice hanging closet, wardrobe drawers, and a private head with shower.
The Captain's cabin has a nice King-size bed amongst the beautiful teak cabinetry. This is a wonderful bedroom space with a ton of wardrobe drawers and hanging closets. Air conditioning makes this a comfortable spot in the summer. The private head in the Captain's cabin has an enclosed shower as well.
Climb the steps to the aft deck and you'll find A wonderful gathering place to watch the sunset or catch up on the day's activities. A wet bar certainly adds to the entertaining value. The addition of outdoor furniture will turn this into one of the most popular spots on the boat.
If you like to keep the captain company while underway, you'll love the upper helm. There's enough room up there for the entire crew to hang out. With a well-laid-out helm and great views around the boat, you'll find driving the Lien Hwa a pleasure.
This 1988 Lien Hwa 42 is in good condition, with what appears to be a few minor items to take care of, like the stovetop missing a burner.
The exterior, sundeck, and upper helm appear to be in excellent condition. The staterooms are in nice condition as well.
The bottom was painted in December 2020, with the shaft seals repacked at the same time.
