This Albin 28 TE is the optimal fishing and cruising vessel! The Peninsular 310 HP turbo diesel engine is an efficient cruiser and motors this great boat up to 29 MPH. The engine is closed-water cooled and was purchased by this owner in 2016.

Head offshore confidently, this long-keel boat with the prop and rudder behind the skeg is made to be astonishingly stable, even when perpendicular to the wind and swell. The hardtop pilot house, along with the rear canvas and isinglass keep the captain and crew dry in weather. The 4 HP bow thruster makes harbor handling and docking a pleasure.

This Albin's beamy stance makes the aft deck the ultimate fishing platform. The live well and pump are at the stern and fish boxes are in the corners and in the deck. Rod holders and rocket launchers surround the deck and the swim platform provides more access to the water. The raw water washdown is on the port gunwale, the freshwater shower is on the transom and this Albin has toe rails installed on each side of the deck for leverage.

The captain's and crew chairs are elevated for great visibility. The Albin's helm is outfitted with a Garmin multi-function display connected to a transducer, a VHF radio and Si-Tex radar. Helm controls include trim tabs and bow thruster.

The cabin sleeps 4 with 2 in the mid-berth and two in the V-berth with the table down and the spacer in place. The galley includes a fridge, a butane stove, a sink, and a microwave.

This Albin 28 TE is powered by a Peninsula 310 HP diesel engine which the buyer had installed in 2016. The engine has low hours and has benefited from fluid changes every 100 hours, the owner confirms. The last oil change was 20 hours back.

Electronics and AC power were functioning except for the radar scope which is inoperable. The bow thruster works great and is a valuable addition to this boat. The ship's two AGM batteries were added in 2022.

Hardware, hatches and fittings on the Albin can be described as nothing but substantial. The sizable hinges, holders and radar arch are well built and ready for more use. The decks were solid overall, but a soft area on the fuel tank cover was noticeable.

The owner keeps the boat clean and stored out of the water on a lift when not in use. Remnants of bottom paint were visible.

The aft bilge pump float switch was not functioning at the time of the listing. The pump itself was working effectively. Bilge areas were clean and dry.
