We're sorry to see this one go but happy to say that she has been sold.
According to the owner Bounty's were built in a yard at the North Oregon Coast in the early '90's. Gambler was the last of 35 built. This particular vessel was built for the Coast Guard Commander at Winchester Bay Station. From the extensive electronics for navigation and communication it is easily believed. As you step aboard you feel the seaworthiness of the vessel. The fit and finish of the hatches, cabinets, and joinery exhibit the work of a committed master craftsman. The cockpit is deep and feels like you can fight the big ones. The engines lie amid-ship and are protected from flooding from a pooped cockpit. The helm station in the cockpit also has radar and plotter displays protected by plexiglass and canvas.
Moving into the cabin the teak and holly sole along with the fine wood work of the cabinets evoke warmth and comfort. The large settee to starboard converts into a berth and the galley is well appointed. The engine space is accessed from this location by removing deck panels.
Moving forward you step up to the helm station to starboard and settee to port. There is a VHF, CB, Ship to aircraft, and ship to shore radio telephone above. The navigational instruments are too numerous to mention and there are redundant systems to insure continuous operation if any single system fails. Everything is controlled from the helm including the electrical panel. All systems are operational.
Stepping down in the lower compartment a pilot berth is to starboard, head to port and master cabin forward. All are serviced by an abundance of storage.
