This is a fully functional work barge that is primarily being used in construction. The barge has a deck area measuring 40' long x 20' wide and has a load capacity of 80,000 pounds. It has a pilothouse, 3 winches, a salvage boom, and a piling driver.
The barge is powered by a Mercury 125 2-stroke engine. The engine sits on a bracket aft of the barge.
The hull is marinized steel with 2" x 10" deck planking. The barge is used to haul equipment and supplies across the lake for clients, and is at times outsourced to other service companies.
The owner says the pilot house needs some TLC, as it was not built with marine grade plywood. Some of the decking planks are ready for replacement. The hull is in great condition.
Everything is functional and serviceable. The deck forms a solid platform, and the engine runs very well; well suited for its purpose.
