This French-designed Beneteau sloop on Cape Cod has a new Doyle Stackpack mainsail (used 1 season) along with 2 jibs of different sizes and an asymmetrical spinnaker.
The winged keel gives the boat a 4 foot 9-inch draft allowing it to get to some pretty skinny water and a great boat to cruise the Bahamas.
Enough room to sleep 6, the unique Beneteau construction provides abundant natural lighting in the cabin with the numerous curved portlights along the dog house.
Two Bowmar deck hatches, 1 in the main cabin and the other in the forward vee berth, allow for plenty of ventilation when combined with the 3 opening portlights along both sides of the cabin.
This model has a swim platform integrated into the hull at the stern with a retracting swim ladder.
The cockpit is spacious with teak strips along the sole and seating both port and starboard and at the helm seat. There is a mahogany cockpit table that folds down to the steering pedestal.
Two additional seats are integrated into the stern rail on either side with cushions. The large Magma grill also attaches to the stern rail.
Updated electronics are mounted at the helm above the compass binnacle includes Raymarine wind indicator, autohelm, and touch screen GPS.
There are two large lazarettes under the cockpit seats for dock lines and fenders. Beneath the helm seat is the ventilated storage for the propane tank used for the galley stove/oven.
Five steps down through the companionway brings you to the main cabin with the u-shaped galley to port. It has a two-bay sink and gimbaled 2 burner stove/oven combination. The icebox is forward of the stove.
To starboard of the companionway is the nav station with VHF radio, electric panel and redundant Furuno GPS Navigator GP 32.
Aft of the galley is a bulkhead door leading into a double aft cabin with opening port and hanging locker.
Aft of the nav station is a second bulkhead door into the head with Jabsco head, sink and vanity. The faucet extends to provide a handheld shower.
The main cabin has a centerline table with large folding leaves allowing easy access by to reach the forward vee berth. There is a flat screen TV on the forward bulkhead.
The boat appears in overall good condition. There are a couple teak strips in the cockpit that need attention. The Beneteau curved portlights along the doghouse show some crazing but this is merely cosmetic, not structural.
Below deck smells fresh with no mildew or head odors and no sign of mold. Some spots of the cabinetry need just some touchup.
The Genoa was recently damaged in high winds and needs replaced.
