The C&C 30 was a very popular Canadian built model. The C&C 30 was in production for 12 years. The 1972 C&C Mk1 can be described as easy-to-sail, comfortable, and a solidly built boat. Not just a cruiser, the C&C 30 is worthy of consideration as an entry level sailboat by anyone looking to get into racing.
The cockpit area is roomy in size. The boat features Edson wheel steering with compass and Raymarine autopilot.
The cockpit seats are long and wide with storage beneath both seats.
The electronics consist of a Raymarine autopilot control head is mounted to the port side of the exterior cabin. A Garmin GPS 152 and Garmin GPSmap 440s are both rack-mounted just inside the cabin entry which swings in place, so they can be viewed from the cockpit.
Descending into the salon you'll find the galley area to port and starboard of the entry steps on the aft bulkhead, the dinette forward to port and a bench seat to starboard.
The galley features storage drawers/cabinets and a built-in drainable cooler to port.
To the starboard of the stairs, the galley contains an alcohol stove, stainless steel sink with faucet, and storage cabinets.
The dinette is forward to port. The dinette bench seating with table can be collapsed to form a double berth.
A bench seat across from the dinette can be pulled out to create a berth with ample room to accommodate a crew member. There is shelving storage behind the bench seat.
Just in front of the bench is a hanging locker.
Across from the hanging locker to port is the head. The equipped with a manual flush toilet, a sink with faucet, storage below the sink, a mirror, and additional storage behind the sink.
The V berth area entry has a bi-fold door that can be closed to create some privacy. The V berth has storage beneath the V berth base. There are shelving units running the length of the V berth both port and starboard.
The C&C 30 Mk1 is outfitted with a Universal Atomic Four engine which provides power while not under sail.

The overall condition of the sailboat appears good for its years.
The exterior hull appeared to be in good shape with a shine coming from the gel coat. There were a few nicks in the gel coat.
The decks were walked and no soft spots were detected.
Interior upholstery was clean and in good shape. The cushions & bunks were covered in loose upholstery.
The headliner was in good shape with no leaks detected.
The sails were not on board and therefore not inspected. Seller states the #2 is ripped.
Electronics were not powered up/tested as no power on board.
The engine was not started as the boat was winterized but the seller says it is solid and runs well.
