1982 30 Catalina Shoal Draft Tall Rig
This Catalina has lived in freshwater until January 2019, she came to Florida from Wisconsin, so she is in great condition compared to saltwater boats of the same age.
She is clean, has many recent upgrdes and is ready to sail. The owner has paid attention to detail keeping her maintained and ready for a sail anytime. The dodger is a great added feature along with the new bimini!
This is the tall rig model with a fin keel and a 4' 4" draft, perfect for Florida waters! Rigged for single-handed sailing, includes an autopilot, newer Raymarine GPS, a TicTac wind instrument, and recently installed VHF and stereo. The genoa is roller furling and the main is a behind-the-mast roller furling that the seller just loves. Included is a spinnaker that is in great condition.
Down below is comfortable! The galley has dual sinks, a gimballed stove was added, and in-counter refrigeration that cools nicely. This is a very nice layout for weekend sails or extended trips. Sleeps 6 to 7 comfortably. Enclosed head with a shower.
The Universal engine runs great and was serviced in January 2023 and includes many spare parts.

This Catalina is a gem, it's clean and was used mostly in freshwater which means little to no saltwater corrosion for her age! She has been maintained over the years and it shows! The engine runs well according to the seller. She was last hauled in 2019, pressure washed, and inspected. Currently, a diver maintains the bottom monthly.
