1966 Columbia 34 Sloop Sailboat in Long Beach, California

Stock #109843

Although located in Canada, due to Canadian regulations, this boat is not available for sale to potential buyers in Canada.

Columbia Yachts is one of the earliest, largest and most successful American builders of production fiberglass sailing yachts. Columbia Sailboats are well regarded as not only being sturdy and durable with thick hulls but also known for their great craftsmanship throughout.

The Columbia 34 is a Masthead Sloop designed by Wirth Monroe and Richard Valdez in 1966. She's 34' in length with a 9'-11" Beam and has a Centerboard Keel with Spade Rudder.

The Volvo engine aboard was recently overhauled and rebuilt and only has about an hour of use after rebuild.

She has 466 square feet of sail with the main and rolling furler jib. 4200 lbs of ballast keep her right side up.

The cockpit is very roomy for all your friends and the wheel breaks down to offer even more room.

Inside, she'll sleep 6 on the 4 berths and the dinette does convert back for a great place to take meals. She has a 2 burner stove with oven and twin iceboxes.

For electronics, the Raymarine will keep you on course, while the Standard Horizon VHF will keep you safe.

This legendary Columbia is ready for new adventures.

Information On Condition

For 1966, she appears to be in good overall condition with typical crazing in certain areas. The Volvo engine was recently rebuilt, and the sails appear to be in fairly good condition. Even the running rigging appears to be fairly new.
