Absolutely gorgeous 1987 Hutchins (Com Pac 19/2) Sloop sailing vessel. This model was designed by Robert (Bob) Johnson
Update: Band-new Genoa has arrived and on the vessel.
What a blast this vessel would be to own and use for weekend sailing adventures, overnight trips to bays, and even islands.
Considering weight this vessel weighs in at 2000 pounds and has 800lb ballast in place.
The Com Pac has a 2020 Mercury 4-stroke 6HP engine mounted on a new bracket.
The seller has completely gone through this vessel and added several features that would not be seen on this age nor size sailing vessel. The bottom has been re-painted with anti-fouling paint over barrier coat as well.
The seller mentioned prior to placing the new paint there were zero signs of any blister or issues on the hull.
The main is sail is brand new
The deck and topside are solid and zero signs of soft spots while walking about the vessel, the step down into the cabin provide more space than seen.
All the wiring has been completely gone through and re-done with marine-grade wiring. All the way to the mast light.
Raymarine depth sounder installed, solar array mounted on the stern. This smaller vessel is loaded with features that the next owner will be very excited to have.
The seller has three hatch doors, 1 solid wood, 1 with window/screen, and 1 custom made to hold the small A/C unit shown in the pictures. The seller uses a small generator for overnight trips to run the 110 unit.
The center storage, table, sink area can be used with smaller cans to collect any water or waste. The porta-potty is located under the access steps to the cabin.
The listing rep was very impressed with this sailing vessel. The size, the trailer, and the ability to take on any adventure really make this one to consider.
New to sailing, what a great way to start, not new but do not want to have to secure a slip, worry about storage, this is the perfect vessel.
The vessel shows well and will provide many memories for the next owner.
