First designed in 1966 by Uus van Essen in Holland, this vintage 1970 Contest 30 is ready to provide you with all kinds of fun Sailing opportunities.
Among its plethora of amenities, this vessel boasts the following internal features: beautiful interior brightwork, new custom upholstery, working head and functioning topside shower, a sleeping room for 5 people, ice boxes and working freshwater system, working lights, Yanmar diesel engine with low hours, and auxiliary fuel tank.
Its exterior features include brand new custom wrap, all new rub-rails with stainless steel inserts, freshly painted top-sides, custom Z-sails, self furling jib, and brand new custom cushions for the exterior seating.
NOTE: This unit is currently winterized and its owner lives out of state.
Completely refitted in the last 4 years, including a new manifold/heat exchanger this 1970 vessel presents a very well-maintained and cared-for condition. According to the prior owner the boat was repowered in the early 2000's.
There is some visible normally-expected wear & tear that you see in a vessel this age.
